So hear is a good question, Superior turtle back rims, Used to hate them but seeing them on the car, Im getting a euro kind of feel for them, I can get them fully polished for about 100 each, or just buy new rims, I was thinking Gas burners either in chrome or black/polished
Or the new Sprintsters in aluminum,

Am I crazy to think about keeping these rims?

I kinda like 'em.... but wouldn't fully polish. leave as is or polish lips and add some bilet center caps. next choice would be black and polished gas burners.

I would use the wheels you have on there now...don't polish them..they look great! Kinna hard to go wrong with black gas burners tho...either is awsome!

gas burners. Not a turtleback fan. The offset is just wrong in my opinion.

What is the offset on those? I was thinking they appear to tuck the wheels in quite nicely.

the ghia looks great and pops looks happy!!!

as for the turtles...i'm with jason....i've never been a fan of those wheels. i think the 4 lug porsche 2L wheels or 4 lug mahles would look better. just my $.02.

f@#kin eh!!! those painted & polished mahles will look tits on that car!!!

is that a black or dark green canvas swatch for the top? either way, a dark top with the colour of the car and the wheels will be a really nice combo!!

Here is the motor

Decided on the new ultralite 2 gauges from autometer,

Here are some old picts of the car

Just have to get some powder coating for some door guts and gas tank and lay out the new Painless 12 circuit harness and start assembly.

She pretty much just needs new side glass and and door panels with seats re-done. Gonna add the seat warmers for the cold nights.

Here are some with the new shoes on

Some of the gauges going in.

First script to go back on

The wiring has been layed through the car, and im just adding in all the little items, like radio, fog lights, heated seat circuits into individual relay boxes, I had my buddy Gavin come out to give a HUGE helping hand in the wiring.

First rule learned this year is no matter how good you think you are with a carbide bit, mask the dash before enlarging speedo hole.........i was a total dumbass, Nice thing is Stephan can fix it...........He can fix both of my two F$%#ups........
Im a moron...
