The Thirteenth Annual GCVWS is only 6 weeks away and counting!
Keep a eye on this thread over the next few weeks for info on all the happenings on this fun weekend.

This year is shaping up to be even larger than the last, With more awards,  vendors, sponsors and more magazine coverage.
As in the years past HotVW's our Magazine of choice has always covered the event and will continue to do so. This year As well as HotVW's we may have Super VW from France join us to spread our show across Europe! This is very exciting for us as well it should be for you, This means there is a even greater chance you ride may get featured.  Start waxing those cars and be sure to hit every event that weekend,The more events you attend the better chance they will spot your ride!

Aug 13th
5th annual "Strip Show" Mission Raceway
5pm-10pm

Aug 14th
Airspeed Customer appreciation day,DVKK breakfast and poker run.
9am-3pm

Aug 15th
Great Canadian VW show Coquitlam Town center park.
9am-3pm

Masn I am excited....  Finally can take my car to a great event!!!! Missing out on all the American ones this year sucks... However I will be at this one....

I'm gonna be there for once this year, however I think the Beetle is staying home. I just don't have the time off work to allow me to drive an aircooled car from Saskatoon to Van. this year.
I am planning to bring the oval out to Mission for next years show to race some of you though!

Anyone heading for the Great Canadian from the East and looking for a layover/ maintenance stop/ break from the traffic/ children pitstop.......?  I have a huge front yard perfect for Westy's and tents...  Located in Salmon Arm puts you about half way from Calgary and the show.  Just a thought........ if airspeed isnt enough on the saturday, you can also go to MMP in the evening.

this event draws lots of VW's (watercooled) and was featured in some magazines last year.

The Air Riders VW club from Edmonton are planning a big cruz out to the Show again this year. :rockon:  We can't wait to meet up with you guys/girls again. If you have any other info like the addresses to all the activities  that would be great. See you all in a few weeks B)

We hope to see a lot of fast VW's on Friday night again. ;)

We are holding a Mighty 45 race at Geoffs House....Bring your own bike...everyone throws in $10 after say a 3 beer chug, First one around the block wins..
