57 beetle
« on: March 16, 2014, 11:52:56 AM »
Hi, I picked this one up on the forum here last month...thanks again Shane! It has a 2.0L motor, freeway flyer tranny, disc brakes and a bunch of other little goodies. It's not a perfect car but a clean looking nice driver. I've added a T handle stand off, bamboo parcel tray and changed out the 5 spokes for cosmics. Not sure what future changes await this car if any but im looking forward to being back in a VW this summer!
Thx

It seems to be running pretty good....I honestly haven't driven it more than once around the block. I've still got a couple things to do with it and give it a good look over but I'm not being too fussy with this...I just wanted a car to take the family out in on sat afternoons for a spin. I was originally wanting a bus or a nice squareback but I couldn't turn this down.
Thanks guys!
Josh...is your car gonna be at the show this year?
