Geoff, Gauge Question On Speedy
« on: July 23, 2006, 10:23:59 AM »
Did you just enlarge the holes in the cluster to install the Porsche gauges....The cluster is rounded a bit, how did you get the gauges to fit flush and how did you get them to stay in, the factory rubberbellow, oh and did the factory bus sender work with the Porsche gauge?

Geoff, Gauge Question On Speedy

I just opened up the guage holes, the two small ones are sunk in the largs one sits ontop of the panel and because of the radius I had to paint the guage housing to make it blend in. The senders on the motor are all 911 and work with the 911 guages, the fuel tank sender is stock VW with a VDO guage.
