I have an 1835cc  that I  just took out of my 68. I is a very peppy long block with some 10-15k miles on it. I am asking $2000.00 for the long block with dual Kads including customized spacers/base for the kads. It is in storage at  a friend's place so, If you are interested I will have to make arrangements.

I wouldn't recommend buying a used engine.

With shipping my singleport Turbo 2110cc built by Brothers Machine in Ontario California came to $4100.00 including the paypal fee, and this included a holley 500cfm carb/manifold ( $500.00 with adjust ajet)  and custom intakes, turbo header no shroud, or alternator,  the turbo I bought from Staggs Racing that came to just over $1000.00 bucks.  The engine was broken in at their shop then palletized and shipped to me.  It has all top end parts, wedgemated crank/flywheel, stage 2 pressure plate, and they did every trick I wanted done to it, + major welding and hours into the heads.  When Brothers told me the cost I was shocked...I was expecting min $7000.00 for this engine that will get 300+ hp with 20 pounds boost, and an easy 200hp on 6-8 pounds.

I recomend Brothers Machine  in a heartbeat, and they have my business again if I ever decide to do something like this once more..
