Title: Dual Webber carb issues
Post by: Buggytime on July 15, 2019, 07:51:26 PM
Hi all,
I have dual Webber 44’s and I just started my car up after sitting for 2-3 years. The engine is running really rough. The engine was running perfect before I parked it, the carbs were freshly rebuilt and sync’d. The idle mixture screws on cyls 2&4 don’t make any change in the engine while stumbling at idle, mixture screws on cyls 1&3 have a great effect when turned in. I have pulled out the idle jets and mixture screws several times to blow them out but no difference. When I rev the engine up, it runs smooth when on the main jets around 2000-25000 rpm and up.
Any advice or other things to try?
3 weeks to the big show and I’m almost there.
Thanks

check for a vacuum leak at your manifold gasket.
