2 big vw shows across the line in washington this weekend...it should be a lot of fun! who plans on going? anyone camping at the race track saturday night?

there may be a couple of vw convoys leaving saturday...one in the morning and one in the early afternoon...more details to follow 

- friday the 15th is the burger meat & saturday the 16th is the vintage meet (show & swap)...

The 2016 Northwest VW Nationals
July 17th 2016. Kent, Washington

Come on out for the Northwest’s premiere VW event! This is an air/water show and all VW types are welcome!

25 show classes, car games, dunk tank, engine blow, 50/50 raffle, kid games, DRAG RACING, burnout contest, entertainment and more! This is the signature event that is part of a weekend full of VW events in the great Northwest.

The event is held at the picturesque Pacific Dragways (31001 144th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98042).

Show starts at 9a.m., gates open at 8 a.m.

Car Show entry - $25
Swap space (20’x20’) - $25
Drag racing - $50
Spectators - $15
VIP Parking - $5
Kids under 12 - $5

This year’s Best in Show winner will receive paid travel and free entry into the labor day Bugorama show in Sacramento (up to $400 contact tttronson@yahoo.com for more info)

allright...the weekend is upon us and its going to be awesome!! swap meets, car shows, camping & drag racing!!

it sounds like there are a few crews leaving at various times...a couple of us are going to try to meet at the campbell river store (just this side of the border) around 730am-ish and cross soon after...and there is a crew leaving from canada customs & hot rods in north van at 1pm. if no one is around at either of these places at those times, hit the road and head south and we'll all end up at the same place!!
