It's a bit of a process. I did it to my '59 but I have the body and pan seperated. Much easier this way. You must weld in trailing arm brackets and dimple the frame horns to clear the cv joints. There is also and issue with trailing arm/shock tower clearance. Track down some the necessary irs parts. (Trailing arms, axles, cv's,springplates) I found a irs rear end with all that stuff for $50. Brackets are $20ish. Then find a tranny.
