Is the door glass in a 79 convertible the same as a hardtop or is it vertible only? Also the windshield? What years fit for this stuff?

Every piece of glass for every convertible Beetle ever made is different from the sedan's glass.
for a windshield, you are looking for a convertible 73-79 window.
