Spring Plate Drop Adaptors: advice please . .

Has anyone got any input on using these adaptors?

There are also these more 'normal' offset straight axle spring plates
2.

Any thoughts on removal of wheels (if I have a flat), would one be easier than the other?
My bus is a 64, with flipped spindles and a 1600SP. I really need to get rid of the RGB's for better cruising rpm's.
Thanks,
Mark

I used a set on Shanes DC, They work well when instaling a beetle trans but can make ebrake cable instal a little tough. There are spacers that Wagens west makes for the cables, worth the few bucks they cost.

Thanks Geoff, I think I'm going to go with the top ones from Old Speed, that way I keep my plates for putting it back to stock height if I wanted to in the future.
