shorten shift rod

looks like my shift rod is 5/8" too long with the new bus box.
i know Manx owners would need to do it, so before i have at it is there a "preferred" place or technique to shortening the shift rod

Part # acc-c10-2660 is what you need. Shifter rod adjuster.

pulled it out through the frt .marked and cut out the 5/8 and a smidge to the right and its all good
