Title: Brazillian Bay
Post by: bwaz on March 21, 2011, 10:03:12 AM
What's the scoop on a brazillian model? Looks like a newer version of an old non-slider side doors. Is that what they did in mexico and brazil up until recently. At least it looks like it's got a day permit so it could be registered in BC!

Mexi bays looked almost like the ones here, that's an 70's/80's Brazil only model, essentially a 63 bus from the bulkhead back. Should have odd IRS reduction boxes too.

Here are a few picks of Brazillian bay stuff I saw when I was down in Brazil in Feb. 2011.
There were so many bay window busses, I could ALWAYS see at least 2 or 3 driving close by at any given time.

A Panel still being used all over Brazil, hard at work.

I had a Brazillian driver while I was there and he was a VW enthusiast... From what I gathered, this is the 2010-2011 model they are selling.

These are everywhere!  :o

Here is what they do with them when they are finished with them... they become art in the middle of the highway as a message to other drivers. BE SAFE, many have died here. ;)
