Just got a 69 vert with a dualport 1600 in it. It has an Alternator installed but not wired.
Is there any information available for wiring an alternator replacing a generator?
Thanks

Actually this isn't totally answered.Because there are some alternators by Motorola that have an external regulator. I cant' tell if this alternator is Bosch or what?
But the kid i bought the car from had a regulator under the back seat for the alternator.
Can I bypass this?

how many wires does it have on it
if theres one screw on and one push on, its an internally regulated alt, i think the motorolas have a three wire connector (again im not quite sure)
theres also a good wiring diagram here http://www.airspeedparts.com/tech/alternat..._conversion.htm (http://www.airspeedparts.com/tech/alternator_conversion.htm)
