Fs/ft: Welders, Compressor Etc.
« on: October 13, 2005, 03:53:07 PM »
Getting rid of some of this stuff once and for all. I've had these for just a LITTLE too long.
I need to pay tuition for January as well as get some parts for my wagon so I'm floggin' this stuff off.

Seeing as I own 2 VW's I'd be more than willing to work out trades on parts on some stuff but not all.
I'll post a list of stuff I'd trade for below.

These welders are made in Italy - NOT CHINA! They're good but not industrial quality (ie:Miller,Hobart) and have a 1 year P+L warranty as well as a 10 year transformer warranty.
All parts and consumables are available through KMS, Mainland Welders or factory-direct.

Here goes:

First off:
Clarke 220V Mig Welder Package  "plug and play" minus the bottle
MODEL # "180EN" NOT 180 AMP to be totally clear.
This kit comes complete with the welder, roller cart with provision for bottle etc.
Auto-Darkening Solar helmet and gas conversion kit.
Comes with various contact tips, wire, pick-hammer/brush
Welder has a 7' torch assembly.
Price = $600
*SOLD*

Second off:
Same kit as above but with a 110V welder and no auto-dark helmet (flip down instead)
Model # is 130EN
Price = $475
*SOLD*

Third:
Clarke 220V SPOOL GUN MIG(welder only).
Model 185SG
Basically the same unit as a 180EN but it's a spool instead of push-feed
Uses 2 lb. wire rolls, aluminum capable
18' Torch assembly
Price = $750
Gas conversion is available from me if you need it. 2-day wait.
*SOLD*

Fourth:
Clarke model AC2000 Air compressor.
2HP, 6 gallon (on wheels) portable
Direct-drive, oil lubricated pump.
Price = $150

Last but not least a 10-ton "Porta-Power" Hydraulic ram kit.
There are quite a few pieces (spreader, extensions, balls,etc) that you would find in pretty much any porta-power kit on the market. In a blow-moulded case.
Off-shore - made in china. 1 year warranty
Price = $100

Go ahead and have a look around regards to prices and let me know if you think I'm on glue  :D

Now here's a few things I'd be willing to work out a trade for:
Set of good aftermarket 4-bolt wheels and tires. let me know what ya got and i'll see.
Set of 40-45 dells
EMPI GT Steering Wheel for my wagon ('68)
A good 82mm crank and rod combo
Set of OG Type 3 lowbacks in good shape
Squareback rear hinge cover
Mint Type3 windshield
I'm sure there's more so I'll add as I remember.
Complete Type 3 upper and rocker trim set.

Drop me a PM if you have any questions or comments. :rockon:
Cheers!
Mike

Okay, the spool gun mig has sold and there's a few people hagglin' over the 220V mig.

Honestly people, if you want a kick-ass 110V  welder for cheap GET ON IT NOW! REALY!!
The only way you're gonna get one cheaper is if you buy one of those "deca" pieces of shit from Poofsess Auto and come on... these things are MMMUUUUCCCHHH better than those damned things. :angry:  :rockon:

Done and done. I'll throw it in the car today for the journey to Airspeed.

Okay, all welders are sold so I've just got the little Air Compressor and the Porta-Power left.
Any takers?
