I went to the "staple stop" in Langley to get mine. I beleive they have new and used. Its off the by-pass. Next to the Super Save gas station. Good luck.

I'm really not sure what size I need.  Enough cfm to run a ratchet, chisel etc., maybe 5hp, 30 gal. ?

I have a 5hp/30gal and find it a tad small for impact work, but fine for die grinders and the like.

Get the biggest compressor you can afford,  you will never say "My compressor is just to big, I don't know what to do with all the air". get a small one and you'll be cursing it.

Thanks for the replies and the good advice.  I'll try to get to the staple stop this weekend and see what's available.

I'm leaning more towards an electric unit, 110 volt and if possible a 220 volt, but thanks for the offer Pointblank!

I would say Go with what Matt said as big as possib;e and for 220 , I found the 110 drew way too many amps and were always blowing breakers.. So I went with the huge upright model. Even made it, it's own house
