Title: Brake Pedal

Im trying to install my pedal assembly in my Fiat. I have pulled the spring around, but the brake pedal seems to want to come forward. The plate that goes in the back to keep the clutch from coming forward would probably work. But I thought it was for the clutch . Does the plate work for both the clutch and the brake pedal? Yup , that plate is for both.  Position it so that both pedals rest evenly and with just a little free play to the master cylinder.
