Here is all the information you have been waiting for!!!

As you may have already heard the Langley Events Center is no longer available for events of this type. With this news GCVWS crew has been looking for the BEST location with the most exposure we could find. The GCVWS crew is proud to announce that the 2013 Great Canadian VW Show will be held in the heart of beautiful downtown Vancouver at Concord Pacific, the Expo 86 Site, located between Telus Science World and Rogers Arena! This location offers fun for the entire family, with Science World, the Seawall, Casino, Skate Park and numerous food options close by.

It's official! CIP1.com is the title sponsor of the 2013 Great Canadian VW Show!

The Great Canadian Volkswagen Show will welcome approximately 5000 car enthusiasts and their families to Concord Pacific. Air cooled and water cooled, new and old will be on display and ready for judging throughout the park. Families can enjoy taking part in a variety of activities and vendors will be showcasing what’s hot on the market. Western Canada's largest VW event attracts some of the finest Stock and Custom VWs from around the Pacific Northwest, including many past and present Hot VWs Magazine feature cars.

Swap Meet Area spaces are available for every type of VW parts vendor. We offer small private (15' x 15') swap spaces for $40. Swap setup opens at 7am and closes when space is filled (on a first come, first-served basis) and is usually full by 10am.

This year we want to step up our fund raising efforts for the Firefighters.
As in the past We raise funds for VANCOUVER FIREFIGHTERS CHARITABLE SOCIETY, Raise a reader, Vancouver Burn Fund, Canuck House, the Fire fighters without borders www.fwbccanada.ca

Attention all car clubs! If you wish to have a club display we will need you to pre register your total number of cars and let us know the name of the club.
Club set up times are 7am-8am Sunday 25th Aug. This is before reg show opening and will insure you get a good spot.

Yes we can always use help, Dave is looking for some judges, jaga may need some help at the food stand or just stop by the booth.. We always need some help getting cars parked etc.

If you are parked in the show and shine area, are you restricted from leaving till 16:00 or whatever? Or can we come and go when we want,(within reason)?

well cal look fans! i just got word that marc buehler, will be comming to the sunday event with his 51 cal look beetle, if you are a fan of the look then bring out your cameras! marc is excited to come up and hang out with everyone and to boot because its a vw event he will even have the real brms and 70's vintage tires on the ol'girl!

The plan is to have all vehicles enter off Pacific Blvd heading East and into the lot at the red star. There will be different lanes for pre-registered vehicles and "day of" registration. Beware that Pacific Blvd. is one way. You can access it from the west, or by turning left off Expo Blvd at Carrall Street. There will be plenty of signs pointing the way.
