I was thinking around 7 am. Sound good? We can meet at my house. I am right down by the truck crossing.

7 am sounds good to me, that's the 176th crossing right?   Are you going to post your adress or do you want to set a spot to meet @ the border?  I don't know that crossing very well..........  I guess you know it like the back of your hand so I'll leave the meeting spot to you.

My wife and I might tag along.....unfortunatly due to the motor in the bus acting up we will be driving the Honda >:( . Is everyone camping on saturday night?

i am going down saturday morning in my truck from lynden/bellingham.  Is everyone camping?  My wife and I are getting a hotel, probably in issaquah, then making the journey down to SIR.

Okay guys. How about we all meet down at the 176th Border Crossing (Truck Border) Saturday morning. Before you get to the border there is a pub on the right hand side, anyone that wants to cruise down together can meet there at 7 am.

Good to see you are going to make it Kevin, I am taking my bug and Clark is taking his bus.
I'll be camping out on Saturday night. Are you just coming for the day?

What is happening on Saturday?

I only knew of the races on Sunday till everyone has been saying they are going down friday or saturday.

Are you camping or hoteling it?

We are going to go to Vintage Meet at Shoreline for Saturday, then camp out (party) at SIR on Saturday night.

I still havent found anything on campin yet.  I checked the pacific site and the northwest VW club thats puttin on the event...is anyone for sure of the camping thing?

FYI....John from Vintage Vee Dubs called Pacific Raceways and he says there is NO camping saturday night at the raceway!!!

I'll see you at the pub @ 7am sat.  but I'll be in my bug though; look for the orange '74 super.  It goes better on the highway than the bus, and the bus is inbetween engines right now

How close is this place to Tacoma? There is a really nice state park in Tacoma but I reallya dont know the area very well.

try dash point state park.  its closer then tacoma, a decent park and its pretty much at the end of HWY18.

I know the track is under new management and all but they tend to say "no camping" every year. I'm still gonna try my chances there.
