Transmission raise - Help needed!

Thinking of raising the transmission to go low low. I have no issues with the normal raising issues. However i have a porsche fan kit and don't know if raising the engine 2 inches will cause the fan to contact the decklid. Will it hit? Would decklid standoff's solve this? or would I be unable to run the lid?

If someone has a porsche fan kit some measurments would be appreciated! Particularly from the to verticaly to the decklid.

What year is the car? 
The lids on late cars bulge out so much you can raise the gearbox and they won't hit.  An oval is the opposite, at a stock trans height, the fan ring hits the lid.

Yeah, it's a '57. They hit with just the Porsche fan - no mods?

I recall Rob's didn't on his 54.  Did he have a Type 4 engine in at that time?

Robs was a t4. My oval still has the Porsche shroud but I have deck lid standoffs on so I couldn't give you an accurate measurement.

If you are able to Geoff, i still would appreciate the measurement. At minimum it will give me an idea of how much clearance the standoffs give on a stock setup.
