Title: lowering rear suspention
Post by: Dan on January 11, 2009, 08:01:48 AM
Previous owner cranked rear suspention up too the max on a bugy chassis I'm working on.Anyone ever reset the IRS on one that could give me some pointers before I try it myself.Or should this be better done at an alignment shop.

You can do it, but just do not have any part of your body under the spring plate when you release it off the stop , especially a raised one. A Bentley manual should have the factory angle settings and you could base your preferred setting from those . An alignment would still be a good idea after it's all done.
