Engle 125 Cam

I ran a W-125 for just over 60k miles, but in a larger engine.  I wouldn't recommend it for a 1776.  Instead I think you'd be better off with a W-120.  Its not that much smaller than a 125, but will give better reliability.  The 125 will be a lot harder on valve train components because its much more agressive, and in a 1776 you will really have to wind it high to get any power out of it.  That cam would make good power to 7500 or more, but valve train doesn't last when you are winding it that high.  The 120 will still make good power to 7k.
If you are going to drive it daily, then I recommend 40IDFs or the 42s.  A 44 will work, but a 40 will give you way better bottom end torque.  Forget the IDAs until you have a bigger engine.  I put IDAs on my current 2 liter for a couple of months last summer and was glad to have the 40 Dellortos back on it in the fall.  The gain in top end hp wasn't worth the loss in bottom end drivability/torque.
