Author Topic: Summer's End Cruise to W.R. Beach - Sept 2nd/2010 (Read 4980 times)

Hello everyone,
With a little more notice than last time, I'm hoping this will be even more successful than last Wednesday's cruise. We will meet in the parking lot of Tim Horton's/Wendy's at 200th St & 86th Ave in Langley. This is right off the No. 1 Hwy, south on the 200th Street exit - across from Chevron and next to Shell. So... you can get supper, gas, and a coffee - no excuses! Lol. We will meet at 530pm this time, and head out at 6pm, so people can grab a bite to eat, etc.... Then; we will go straight down 200th to 8th Ave, then west to White Rock. We will cruise the beach and park at west beach, like last time. If people want to join in along the way, that's cool. I know there are a few people up in Brookswood, and yes, Stefan you are invited!

So, please respond here if you're interested, that way we'll know if it's a go or not. Also, we'll make this weather permitting. I just want to see another train! Woowoo...

Sounds like fun. Weather is supposed to suck Wed. Hopefully it will turn around by then. I will do my best to get home to Aldergrove and pick up the familly and get back to langely by 6. Might have to meet up along the way.

I have changed the cruise to Thursday. The weather is supposed to be good, and there will be parking down at the beach. Same times and meeting place as the original post... "Hope to see some of you there. Thanks, Darren.

Iam out. Clutch cable broke as I was backing out of my driveway this morning. Had to take the truck to work. No time to replace it before the cruise. Might head down to the beach to see it though. Have fun. Weather couldnt be better.

Not in my book, Sept usually pretty sweet around here. Besides, Ive got insurance on the car till Oct, thats when my summer ends.

andrea = erin or cheryl....and steve = shawn or the other shawn. it's ok tho...i'm so bad with names i had to tattoo mine to the inside of my eyelids!!

It wouldn't have been much of a cruise if I was alone! 'Great weather tonight, and even a train!
