he found that locally? I heard that big of an engine on turbo'd or NOS'd needs a lot of maintenance after each run because the engine is so big but it is still gonna be some amazing to watch, hopefully it will be ready for next year

I got $100 that says you don't make the Top Ten next year, do you wanna take that bet?

I shouldn't be on the list next year BUT you never know.

I am revamping the site so more people can take part in it so it will spread the field a little, so it wouldn't be fair for you as I have yet to make the changes.

james, you should've taken the first bet.

pb said next year. next year officially starts january 1st at 12:01 am.  ;)

and who is gonna better their run and bump you in january?

with that $100 you could've bought an orange creamsicle coloured racing jacket to go with your new paint job.  :P

I gotta say there's a lot more than parts & words to get a car running in the 10's. In the words of Ross Perot
\"Talk is cheap, words are plentiful, actions are dear!\" Good luck to him and as they say (to me anyways) \"Keep the shiney side up\"( sticky side down)Wayne RRA(roof racers asssociation)

too bad you dont know what to do with them. ;)  unless you count throwing them against the wall doing something with them. :P

talk is pretty much all i can afford these days. :o  and i have never said i would run 10's. the competition was lacking this year tho, you have to agree. i think it's cool to hear you encourage people to run fast times and allthough i was betting on another horse, i still think it's great that you pushed the car and yourself to achieve the tens.

by the time i get my car on the road, we'll all be sitting on the porch of the old folks home, rocking in our wheelchairs, reminicing of the good ole days when there where cars and roads to drive them on. :D

Just kind of an outsiders objective point of view. I think the next few years locally are going to be rather competitive speedwise. I think the future is in those hairdryers you attach to their engines.. And on the other \"Making moh' Powah!\" front some people are going Megasquirt. I know once I win the lottery or find that swiss couger I'm looking for I got a plan for a hair dryer mounted on seabert...
Now where'd I leave those 1000 dollar bills....

The more cars the better, The faster cars even better, I think the older guys in the hobby can relatehow it was almost wiped out. I have never wanted to go out and be the fastest,I dont mind taking a seat to someone fstaer than me, I just wanna go out , Talk smack  and race my car!!!  End of teh day have fun, even if I am throwing tools against the wall atleast I have some to throw against the wall...

Whats wrong with throwing tools against the wall   I thought that was all part of the whole AC VW deal, I`m sure Cale`s brother will appreciate us trying out your \" throwing against the wall technique\" rather than \" AHHH F#$k why wont it work\" as the angle grinder flys past me and hits Cory.

The whole deal with going out to the track and watching everyone race and have fun is a blast, even from the sidelines. I cant hardly wait for next year with all the new cars being put together. There is going to be some great competition.
