Strictly German VW Association is in its beginning stages of organizing for this upcoming season. We have been working hard over the past few months to find an official club logo, designated meeting place and most important of all, members to join us.
Since the two organizing members, myself and Darren E, both have young families, we are beginning this club as a low key, flexible and fun VW "cruising" club based out of Langley. We see this club as a an excuse to get together with VW friends to talk v-dubs and most of all cruise.
We will be looking for people who have a special interest in ALL air cooled VW's. A running, driving vehicle is preferred, but if you have one close to being on the road, that's good too. Having a show condition car is not required. Our emphasis is on driving our cars, but we would also like to be able to get the group together for shows and meetings. So, there would be some expectations from possible members.
Well, we have some logo ideas that we are looking at so we can have some shirts, hats, jackets etc. made up in the near future.
