going fast on pump gas for many is the true definition of a street car .
meaning:if i have to run race fuel in my vehicle in order to run it on the street it is no more than a race car with insurance ,you may not agree with this but in my opinion this is where the pump gas debate really stems from.
i have to make a comment on why we don't have to many fast n/a cars up here .
the real question is how long do they run
that is due to the fact many do not have a dedicated race car such as the one josh has bought and i have to ask this, please don't think i'm being a knob but,
using josh's car for example,it was bought as a race car with a hurt motor, how many runs at that high level were done before the last failure and what about previous engine work, has the falure been diagnosed in order to prevent it again.
this may be a good example of why there are not many fast N/A cars up here.
fast n/a cars due to the fact are running on the ragged edge either at the track or on the street can be expensive and a lot of work at times, many including myself can attest to that.SPEED COSTS MONEY.
and after awhile we all get sick of the costs and time needed to keep these cars going.many people don't realise this and i have seen many a project and or person sell stuff off because they are done with it.
there are many ways to have a fast car and make it live for a reasonable amount of time at the track and on the street, but that comes with experiance and alot of trial and error.
i see alan has posted and i could not agree more with his comments.
