is there a place you can get alloy rims stripped meaning dipped so there is no dirt on them any more or is it just elbow grease time

Stephan Schmidt:
just get the wheels sandblasted, and then use an air nozzle to clean it, and then grab the wheels with a new clean rag or cloth.  just wipe them down before paint or powdercoating.

just my .02

But in regards to getting them dipped and cleaned, I don't really know of a place that does that.

Rooodie:
You can take them to Redi-Strip, but blasting them is probably just as good.
