Any plumbers on these forums?? I want to plumb in some copper pipe in my garage for the air compressor, but seeing as it has a max of 135 psi I don't want to have amateur soldered joints. Will pay (just not very well

).

It is easy man.... You can also use threaded pipe... THat is what I used

i was also going to mention the threaded pipe idea,we use this at work i believe it's gas tubing but i could be wrong.
if you decide you want to try it yourself give me a shout and i can lend a helping hand.(keep in mind i have not done it but willing to help:)

Tell me more about this threaded pipe bit. Steel pipe I assume? that would work for me but I need a bit, I think there was 80 feet of 1/2" pipe, 10- 90 degree corners and 2 "T" fittings.

Most of that is available at the hardware stores. You would need a pipe threader for the custom lengths. This stuff is somewhat expensive though.

I think Copper pipe has a maximum working pressure of 100 psi.

I found this link when looking at it before, it may helpw ith your layout and max effectiveness of the air.

Great Link '76bus! I don't know what pressure copper line has, I'll have to look into that. I'm only using 1/2" pipe so I think steel may be overkill.

I'll stop by this week Russ and have look-see, what day is good for you??
