Another shifter rod question

Putting a buggy  together.The shortened shifter rod has a threaded end?Checked CIP'S web site this is for a super shifter?What coupling will work with this type of threaded female end?1971 pan and drive.Dan

The threaded end is for the trans side. Sounds like someone attached a coupler to it but you may be missing part of it.  The other end with the little cup is for the shifter end and will work with a stock or any after market shifter you want. Got a pic of what you have there?

Coupler end is an add on!Camara dead last night too take picture. The threaded end looks like what is sold at CIP but can't find the rest.

Thanks for the info.I decided too start from sratch and cut down a shifter rod from a pan the same year as I'm building.Dan
