Bumper Brackets

Has anybody ever seen or tried to makeshift some bumper brackets using the sway bar clamp locations? I would like to make or find some brackets that basically bolt to the underside of the vehicle and come from underneath the fenders instead of coming through the fenders (I want to try and get away from having to cut bracket holes through the new 'glass fenders in order to pass inspection). If anybody has any ideas please pass 'em along. Thanx all!! B)

you would be better off to mount to your beam bolt location:
Take two pieces of flat bar, drill them to match your mounting holes for your beam. Have the lower part of the flat bar drop down a tad to allow you to weld your tube bumper on.... viola!
