61 Project Strip Car

(1/25) > >>

Chris:
So a long time ago I started to build a car and it sat for a long time as I didnt have time to do it, it rotted, rusted and was eventually useless, then someone (Shane) called me up and sais he had a deal for me, a 61 shell, complete, rust free and straight. I said ok, and so started my project again.

I have recently mounted the tranny and reinstalled the spring plates and axle tubes, which were powdercoated thanks to Russ at Frances Andrew Site Furnishings, great job too! I am just waiting for some brake parts to come back from the machine shop and should have a complete rolling pan in the next ten days or so.

Anyway check out the pics here! or click the link in my signature line!  :D

Russ:
wow,
looks good man

Chris:
Spent the day installing the front disc brakes and drop spindles, other than a quick parts run to Airspeed it was an easy install. There are some new pics in my gallery, I am hoping to have it rolling on its own 4 wheels this week :) Just waiting for some rear drums to be machined and I have to find a drivers side back plate for the rear.

Geoff:
Lookin great! You'll be beating James in no time

James Buchan:
My pedal car is good to go!
