the car has been in the paint shop for a while now and i was able to go see the progress yesterday. My painter, Ross says that the fenders, hood and deck lid should be in finished paint this week and the rest of the car in high build primer soon after
here are some pictures of where its at now

theirs the rear apron all finished with the c channel welded in

there's something about a car when its in primer and ready for paint. It just looks so good!

I like Ross' work, I think you will be happy with it.

Ha ha ya gsun, I'd rather buy a vintage speed exhaust then some necklace, and I doubt I'd get away with spending all my time in the garage for that matter as well

And thanks taigabus, it took a long time to choose, I like it a lot too

ha ha
i thought it was a nice addition to the room as well, but mom didn't and i was promptly told to put everything some where else
well i got the rest of the car back today, looks awesome. And due to a lack to storage space we were ambitious and put the body back on the pan today
here are some pictures

finally back at it!
since last post i have bolted the body to the pan, built the doors, done all the sound deadening inside with rattle trap, re wired the whole car, put the dash together and most everything in front of it, i have also been thinking about how I'm going to mount the 356 bucket seats i bought off Geoff
here are some more pictures
