There must be a magnet for Ruby Red Beetles on Imperial near Kingsway.  Saw a 69 Ruby Red Beetle Cabrio waiting at one of the body shops.  Rolling on fake 914 2.0 alloys.

I was following a very nice dark blue 68 or 69 bug convertible that looked to be slightly lowered and saw a nice stock beige bug, late 50's or possibly an oval with a rack and a white haired man behind the wheel. Both in downtown Langley around 4 pm.

The beige Bug you saw was Jeff's. He's my buddy from Aldergrove and it's a '56 Canadian Standard. Nice stock Oval, that's for sure.

I think a late 60's bug. Blue, with black and white checkered hood and roof rack. Parked on 72nd Ave near 112th Steet in North Delta.

saw a flat black bay window panel driving over port mann around 11:00am going east bound on saturday with some writing along the side of the bus

-who are you?

A few years late I know, but I own this Panel now. Its in Penticton and just needs some electrical work to be running again. I bought it sight unseen through a friend of a friend, and it turned up with Gnash Rat Rods South Wales written on the side. I have no idea why, but its cool as my roots are in South Wales.

I do believe I saw this bus near Walmart in late Sept. early Oct.?  Is it on the road?  I am new to Penticton as well.

Sorry Al just saw your message. I still have this bus but not on the road yet. The one you saw was probably a flat black split panel from OK falls. Welcome to Penticton.

Thats my old car!!

A frenched antenna? Shoulda known it was yours. A '68 right? The guy working on it (Craig? - the shop's called NZ Autoworks, right across from City TV) approached me at the December Slush Series Autocross asking if I had any parts. Needs a decklid latch and a rear jumpseat set.

Yup, frenched antanae. Built in the early nineties. When I bought that car, it was written off by ICBC at one time. It was painted primer and a no V8 spray painted on the side and we used to go drag racing right where CIP is nowadays. Got caught one night by the cops drag racing, won the race but lost my license a month later.

That sounds about right, I thought it was a split.  I noticed your signature, do you own the company? We are starting up and are getting quotes to have our sign made.  I'll shoot you an email through the website.

Lots of Beetles here.  Saw a couple of Type 181s in Torreon on Thurs.  A few Brazilias too.
