Ok Geoff, what are those tires you're running on the rear? Where did ya get them, how much did they cost? I love that classic look. I found my rear wheels in Chiliwack, but need tires. I'd love something like that that, or a low priced similar look.

While building my Manx I was looking all over for info and documents regarding what was correct for my year Manx. I talked with a good friend (Deano at Hot VW's) and he told me in his archives he had some orig build instructions for the Manx from 68.

Well I never had the chance until a few weeks ago to look into this, What I found was quite amazing.

Deano passed me the file and when we opened it I was amazed to see a complete instruction set for the Manx, The Toad, all wiring as well as the Camping moduals among other things. Then the best part! Inside was aprox 10 orig 8x11 black and white glossy photos used for the orig Meyers catalog!! The pics were taken by one of the Hot VW's staff back in the 60's. I have contacted Bruce and winnie and they have copies of most already but Deano will copy anything they do not already have.

Here are a few pic's

a few more..

And some of the amazing instructions that were found!

Hi !

I would be very interested with this documentation, especially the wiring harness schematics.

Would you please consider sending a copy to me ?

Thanks.
