Rarest bay?
« on: January 22, 2011, 05:40:21 PM »
Well I don't know if it would be the rarest Baywindow out there but I've always wanted to find an orig (if they ever made one?) Deluxe double slider sunroof bus.
In 23+ years I don't think I've ever seen one but I did just find this one on a Early bay link. It's a double slider asunroof Kombi by the look of it, and a very nice custom resto at that.

Below shown with deluxe trim installed.

So has anyone ever seen a real Deluxe sunroof double slider?

An original double slider would not have the vent window behind the sliding door. The setup shown here would create "interference" if you ever tried to open both at he same time. Easy enough to change he windows though.
