Installed the Scat pushrod tube as a trial to see how it does before I take on replacing all 8 of them. Took the opportunity to complete valve adjustments (yes, both sides) while I was at it. Not a lot of space under there with the heater boxes right there below the valve covers. Frigging bails could not come all the way down to free up the valve cover because they ran into the heater box. So I pulled one end out to get the space to remove the valve cover. Other than that everything went pretty darned good. Takes some frigging muscle to get that pushrod tube compressed enough to get it into place. Finished up a tune up and so far no leaks whatsoever from the new tube and so nice to not be laying down a smokescreen that could blot out Fort Langley from the Space Station.
