I'm selling my beetle simply because I want a change in my car. I'm shopping for a GTI and I've always wanted one. Anyways, I'm selling my 1971 Super Beetle. Here's some stuff that's been done:
-New windshield+molding
-Relatively new rubber on tires (lots a tread)
-New Generator/Fanbelt
-New Coil
-New Plugs
-New Distributor Cap+Rotor
-New Fuel Filter+Hoses
-New Wiper Motor (Not Installed)
-Wired in Crappy Panasonic CD Player (Sits in Glove Box)
-Brand new 6x9 Panasonic speakers
The car is a creamy yellow colour with original vw moon hub wheels. The car runs sweet but it needs some love. I can't take the time to work on it now though. This would be a perfect project car. The engine and transmission on this car are unbelievably solid. Being a 30 year old car, it does however have some rust issues. I'm asking $2000 for the car. I bought it for $1500 and I've put well over $1000 into it. I just need to make back what i've put into it. Depending on the response, I'll post some pictures. Let me know.
