Title: Bead Rollers

Anyone used a bead roller such as this?

How hard is it to work with a bead roller? I am sure that there is finesse needed but is there anything one should no before jumping in?

Keep it and the metal you are working clean (no paint, lumps or rust) and oil it after every use, fingerprints rust. Get ahold of alot of practice sheet and scraps, you need to mangle a bunch before you take it to anything you want someone else to see.

What are you making? It may be way cheaper in the long run to pay an expert to do it right the first time ;)

Only planning to work with Aluminum....

Mostly experimenting with it, always wanted to try working with one.

I bought mine there, watch for a sale, mine was a lot cheaper.
Remember it is an offshore item of so-so quality, check it over carefully before using.
I found it worked best if you go slow and repeat slightly deeper each time.
Go for it, quite easy and a fun tool. ;D
