Hey Guys,
I'm just putting my 2275 together and have a question I hope you guys can help me out with. Here are some specs on the Motor, 82 DMS 6 circle crank, 94mm Mahle P&C, 5.394 H-beam rods, 44x37.5 P&P S/E heads, scat tall manifolds, 48 IDA's, 9.1:1 comp, 1 3/4\" header with 2 1/2\" Magnaflow exhaust. It had a FK-87 in it and made 188hp. Unfortunatly it droped a valve, so I am rebuilding it and while I'm at it I chose to change to a Web-Cam 86c with Scat Lube-A-Lobe new lifters (reground by SLR) and bump the compression up to 9.75:1.
I'm on the mock-up stage at the moment and about to degree the cam in, I know a few of you guys (Geoff, Alan U and Brad P) all have experience with this cam. Is it worth advancing (or retarding) it 2-4 deg??? Right now it is strait up, but I would like to know before I put it all back together.
Thanks for any help guys.
Rob
