Hey everybody my name is evan king and I'm from edmonton .I've been on this forum for awhile but posted very little just wanted to introduce my self and let you no about my rides.I have a 67 beetle that is pretty much stock other than a dropped front end .I plan on putting in a stroker motor in the near future when i get the funds saved up.My other ride is a 56 beetle that is pretty much in shambles and in dire need of a resto .My plans for the 56 are to make it a stock looking light wieght strip car kind of like geoff p 56.Here's a pic of my 67 enjoy.

Well it looks like I got the picture thing figured out I switched to the samba and I think all is well in picture land. Here's some more .

This is the reason this bug sat in the bush for 30 years. Its hard to see but there's a big crack.

For some reason when I seen this car I had to have it and rescue it from the dead. Some people close to me wonder why I'm wasting my time and money on
old volkswagen but when I take them for a ride in my 67 they understand. :D

hey evan, welcome aboard!
despite the bumps and bruises, it looks like your 56 will heal up quite nicely with a bit of TLC. looks decent for living in the woods for so long. btw, nice 67. not that i like that year or anything...

Agreed with Moni on the 67..
Very nice clean car. Plus your pretty gutsy for taking it down a gravel road.. I do such things and even go more extreme:P
56 should clean up real nice.

Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

Thanks for the nice comments on my cars everyone.Stephan sorry but the delete plate and steering wheel are not for sale.A friend of mine may have an extra plate I'll check with him and let you no.As for being gutsy on the gravel road the pictures do a great job making my piant look good but really it needs a paint job pronto.those pics of the 56 are when i first bought the car last summer. The body is just about ready to seperate from the floor but The cars tarped under a couple feet of snow behind my garage. So to tell the truth progress is coming very slowly.
