66 Kombi project
« on: February 16, 2014, 08:04:25 PM »
New to forum, picked up a 66 Kombi Sundial late last year.   Overall, a bit crusty but should be able to turn it around.

Bus has very low mileage, but not parked in the best spot for the last 30+yrs.   Camper bits didn't weather well, so they have come out.   The good news is that it is 99.9% complete.

Rough plan, lowered, irs conversion, 1776+, disk brakes, sunroof (picked a pretty decent kombi sunroof clip already) etc..  New camper interior (my version).

Will be looking for sheetmetal if anyone has some kicking about..  The usual, top hats, inner rockers, long panel rocker, jack points, outriggers

NB

Picked it up from Darren in Castlegar in November.   Now in Vancouver.
