I have heard of people using an adapter plate to run a 30pict carb on a 1600 dp, presumably because they are easier to tune and less prone to fouling up than the 34pict, and also work better with an 009. What I'm wondering is how the smaller carb would affect accelleration and top end performance, or whether the difference would even be noticeable. Anybody tried this? Also, does Airspeed stock these adapters?
