open to all acvws powered by stock displacement motors.
it's going to be another great year of 1/4 mile action and it's always a fun night spent with amazing people and good friends!!

f'n 'eh!!! how awesome would it be to see brian in his split window beetle and steveo in his 23 window deluxe go heads up in the SMC 2014!!!

That's a no-go. The track timing equipment will time-out before he gets to the end, so he can't ever get an ET.

I'd need to put disc brakes on to be able to stop before I got to the end of the track! ;)

FYI TO ALL SMC 2014 PARTICIPANTS!!!
- go to the AVR bbq from 12pm-330pm and then head to the track asap and get in line to get in (gates open at 430pm and this is the first friday night street legal drags of the year and we anticipate it's going to be busy)!!
- entry fee for mission raceway is $35. entry fee for SMC is free!! just find me (tall, skinny white dude w/ a black 64 beetle) and sign up so we can record the numbers from your time slips!!
- to pass tech you will need...
- lap belt
- battery hold down
- back seat over the battery (beetles)
- no more than 12"s of fuel line (give or take)
- no hubcaps
- all lugnuts must be torqued to spec
- pants, shoes and long sleeve shirt (no shorts, sandals or muscle shirts)
- no plastic or glass fuel filters (contact AVR or your local ACVW speed shop for billet aluminum fuel filters...or skip the filter alltogether and just run hose directly from the pump to the carb)
- more tech specs & rules of Mission Raceway here...

- tell them you've got a stock motor, you plan to run a 20 second pass, and you'll be good to go!!

also...looking for a participant from the 2014 SMC named john david. he drove a 67 standard beetle (cream-ish coloured). pretty sure he's from the abbotsford/aldergrove area. if anyone here knows him, please let him know i need to get some prizes to him (i lost his contact info). thx!
