1972 VW pop top for sale or trade
Okay, the ads first four months did not work so well, so here is an amendment.

CONDITION – used

IT GOES – like stink when it’s warmed up.
Someone put in a Holley carb (model 5200) and there is a rebuild kit for it.  There is a small homemade access hole over the engine compartment.

Last compression test ~4,000 miles ago
1 - 125       2 – 125     3 – 125     4 - 130

IT STOPS
Last brake job ~4,050 miles ago

OTHER
     -    top is pretty good rust wise.
     -    If you put one of those Bilstein jacks under the van, the jack will go up, the van may not.   
     -    needs new battery.
     -    no canvas
     -    no heat/air

COMES WITH THE NEGOTIABLE PRICE
     -   1 Bilstein jack
     -   1 front cot
     -   1 luggage rack
      -  1 jump seat
      -  a few new parts – plugs , gaskets, etc…
     
 SELL
      -  $6500 -  O.B.O.
 
TRADE OPTION
      -  4x4 pick-up, extra cab, automatic, tow package would be nice

-   1700 engine and trans (unknown condition)
-   Doors with windows all around, some good, some not so good
-   Extra windows -  rear vent, louvered, 2 left rear, right rear
-   2 tires with questionable rubber
-   2 Bilstein jacks
-   1 Machine-O-Matic high-top rack
-       miscellaneous manuals
-       parts -  some refurbishable , some with potential somewhere
-       sink cabinet unit that may be fixed-up

Say, does this thing work for youse looking at my van? Is there a better way?  Also, any other comments would be appreciated.   

Fortunately and unfortunately, we are on Texada.
