Removing stuck inner bearing on spindle

(1/1)

WhiteDonkey:
Hi all and thx in advance

I have a king n link front beam and the inner race for the bearing is stuck on the spindle .....I've soaked and heated.......still does not remove .....any tricks or ideas pls

jim martin:
Drill it then split it with a chisel

Bruce:
You should be able to clamp a bearing splitter into the groove between the bearing and the spindle. Then use a standard puller on the bearing splitter.

If that doesn't work, take an angle grinder and grind it at 12 O'Clock until it is super thin.  Then hit it with a hammer and it should split.

Chris:
If he was running late and didn't get to it until 12:30, would it still work?
