What I did on Thanks Giving - Coffee Cruise
« on: October 16, 2010, 12:47:43 PM »
Heading out to Britannia beach wasn't going to happen for us so we decided to set up our own cruise.  First time that everyone in my family had access to an old VW at the same time so we decided to spend the day driving all around the Eastern Fraser Valley enjoying the scenery, the vehicles and starting and stopping with hot coffee.  Round trip was around 180 miles with only a couple of break downs (my car unfortunately) but nothing serious considering the only vehicles that have scene regular use over the last 3 years were the Puma, the 67 and the 74 beetles.

Staging area at the family farm.

Leaving the home compound.

Heading down Majuba hill.

First coffee stop.

Back side of Sumas Mountain heading toward Mission.

Taking a break.

Hope you enjoy.

Picking up lunch in Mission.

Heading to Stave Lake.

Final regroup in Agassiz.
