White Rock Beach cruise - Aug 25th/2010

Is anyone at all interested in meeting and cruising to White Rock Beach?  I figure there are a few of us in Langley that might be able to cruise there together???  So, if people want to meet somewhere central-ish, we can meet at Tim Horton's just off the 200th Street exit on the South side of the freeway at 6pm, and head in from there.  If people want to meet us in White Rock, we could meet on the east side of the hill where the totem poles are, just east of the actual White Rock.  This is a great place to park and cruise from.  Any ideas, changes, or confirmations, please PM me.  I know it's short notice, but there a very few days of summer left.  I don't know about you, but my weekends are full.  Cheers, and I hope to see a few VW's out tomorrow.  Darren.

I was on Marine Drive last Wednesday evening, mildly surprised to see a police checkpoint setup around 10pm.

As far as I know, loving Barney is not a crime oval girl!  Oh, that reminds me...how's the Kenny G fan club coming along anyway??   :P 
Kev, as far as I know, I have nothing to hide, so a police presence is a concern why????  My car isn't as low as yours, so I think it's still legal!   :P
I'm not allowed out past 10pm anyways, so that's not a problem. 
So, is anyone into it at all???  Come on.... I know you want to.....

I am gonna try hard, Insured the Oval, charging the battery as it was a wee bit low, just have to find my lisence plate stand off

I had a good time tonight.  The weather was perfect, and there were 7 cars out, with some cool people driving them.   Not bad for a days notice.  We'll have to do it again soon.  Maybe VWboop can post some pics via that cool thing he uses.... :D  I sent them to him via FB.  Thanks for coming out tonight!   You_Rock_Emoticon  Cheers, Darren.
