New 80's Baja
« on: September 10, 2003, 09:42:17 AM »
Here is the new winter driver Baja with 80's paint job. Reminds me of the Island hopper chopper from Magnum PI ;)

This Baja was built around 1988 and was in it's day a fairly nice car. Time has taken it's toll on it and it needs some lovin, I spent last night fixing many engin problems and finaly got it to run. I should have it on the road  in a month or so depending on the inspection.

Sweet 80's ride! I think you'll need a pair of silver parachute pants and some white high top sneaks..

I picked up a nice 80's roof mount scoop and oil cooler from Sac. I think i'll need the full Miami Vice outfit to go cruising.
Oh yeah it has some vintage radar detecter in it and a lot of lights and switches on the dash, pure 80's overkill.

Ok now the new sig pic has been added you can now see how the Baja gets it's new name.  the \"Baja Hopper\" named after 'TC's\" Island hopper chopper, anyone remember his VW vanagon in the same stripes? Dam this is one ugly paint job on this Baja
