What happens when...
« on: February 16, 2022, 07:52:48 AM »
Background- I know someone with a 2332 in his plastic Speedster. It has (I'm told- I haven't seen the car) stock heater boxes, an A1 Sidewinder (not sure what size tubing) and he claims it will rev to 5500 with power. I was under the impression that the heater boxes would choke it right down and it shouldn't rev much past 4,000 rpm- anyone with actual experience with something like this?  Thanks in advance.  Al

I use headers and a diesel heater so I don't have real world experience, but it's my understanding that the heads are the rev-limiter, not the exhaust.
