anyone use one of these ?
had one shipped in my order , its not a jamar unit so must be MIC.
anyway tried to blow through it and its restricted badly , grabbed the ball on top and doesnt pull up and only pushes down like 3/16" and then pops up from the spring when released .
unles i dont know how this works i think its buggered .any have some incite

Hey Jim, I used one of those cheap ones too. It barely came up then it locked on me one day and we had to open up the brake line so it would release. Huge mess inside the car. I threw mine away and bought a Jamar.

tell me how much it moves and if there is a problem locking or unlocking it ? also is there any restriction through it you noticed

Hey Jim, Mine moves up and down about as much as you said. I "think" your supposed to tap your brake for it to disengage. To be honest, I installed mine but never tested it.

hey jim i think to use them you need to apply the brakes, hold, then push in the top, it should hold the pressure untill you tap the brakes to release. you maybe able to bench test it before you install it in your car.
