Title: 71 bay drop spindles in ontario?
Post by: cdmef on September 01, 2012, 05:52:00 PM
Hey everyone, I picked up my first vintage volkswagen, a 71 bay in need of lots of love :)

but to the point, I am starting the search for bay drop spindles, and hoping someone here has some to sell, or point me in the right direction.

thanks!

Yeah I am aware of him from what I have read, just hoping to find someone closer to avoid shipping costs mainly, wish I sill lived in the beautiful west.

another query would be a seller of beam adjusters

Geoff and shipping would be my first choice on the Bus Drop Spindles. Otherwise, if you can get a hold of him, Lanner from VDub Engineering would be the your next best choice. If he can't do bus spindles he will know who in Ontario can. Again, the trouble is getting a hold of him as VDub Engineering is a side hobby business.

For new parts AVRparts.com can ship with reasonable fees to you in Ontario. Otherwise, for "local" you're heading to Niagra Falls :P

Ok sounds good.  I am at the research stage now, I am oh so new to the aircooled scene but always loved the cars.  My bus is in serious need of work, I just got all new rubber and rust repair panels so that stuff will come first.
